Join Our Team as a Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Officer

Advance your medical profession while contributing to the health and wellness of our Soldiers as a pulmonary disease and critical care officer within Army Medicine. In this role, you will provide care to Soldiers and their families suffering from respiratory conditions, evaluate, recommend, and administer treatments in intensive care settings. Additionally, you will have the chance to push the boundaries of medical knowledge by studying patient cases and exploring innovative treatment options. If you opt to serve in the Army Reserve, you can fulfill your duty to your country while remaining engaged with your local community.

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
• Foreign graduates may apply if they hold a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
• A current, valid, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or U.S. territories.
• Eligibility for board certification.
• Completion of at least one year in an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship.
• Ability to meet the requirements for commissioning as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
• Must be a permanent resident of the United States.
